Product Overview
A Practical Carbon Grade for Water and Industrial Filtration
Coal-based activated carbon is commonly used in water treatment because it offers a good balance of adsorption performance, particle strength and cost efficiency.
For many industrial users, the goal is not to buy the highest iodine value on paper. The carbon needs to work in the actual filter system. Particle size, hardness, ash content, pressure drop, water flow rate and replacement cycle all affect the final result.
Compared with coconut shell activated carbon, coal-based activated carbon is often selected for larger water treatment systems, industrial filtration and wastewater polishing where practical performance and cost control are both important.
For drinking water, industrial water or wastewater applications, we can help match the grade according to your current specification, filter design and destination port.
